Tegan just started mum-mums a couple days ago. She LOVES them. I use them for car rides if she is being fussy because it entertains her for like 15 minutes or if I need to get dinner made.

What are mum mums?

For the first time I gave Peyton these italian teething biscut things...she loves them...but I only give her 1-2 a day...I won't be giving her anything while she's in the car for a while...I'm scared to death of her choking/aspirating - whether they dissolve or not.

I just got Ben some Earth's Best teething biscuits last night. I think I will try them tonight while we eat dinner.

No. Jillian is only 5 1/2 months old. I don't believe in giving those to young because even though they can dissolve they can also be huge choking hazards.

Catie's only 5 1/2 months. I don't think i tried bisquits or puffs with my other kids until they were closer to 7 or 8 months. And with Ashleigh I waited until 11 months! I was nervous with her LOL!

I definately don't give her it and walk away ... I sit facing Addi while she eats it ... just in case it breaks off a big piece ... the nice thing is the organic mum-mums disolve almost instantly in her mouth.

Lucy is barely on purees. Crackers and such won't be happening here for a very long time yet.

same here. We usually give them to bailey while we eat to keep her occupied, and there has been a few times where a piece would break off where I would feel uncomfortable w the size of it and take it from her. Thats why i like the puffs, one at a time and they melt so fast

Yeah I think DS was at least 8 months when we started them. I think the Gerber ones say for 10 months plus.

Puff come in a tall container kind of like Pringles. They are little star shaped cereal type things (kind of like Cheerios only they dissolve much faster) and they come in different flavors.

I try to go basically by the guidelines because they give those guidelines for a reason. I mean a few weeks probably wouldn't make a difference but if something says 10 months I'm not going to give it at 5 or 6 ya know?
