We had a rough night last night --we felt like we were back in October, trying to get Kirra to go back to sleep! She woke up THREE times, at 1230, 230 & 4 and couldn't be consoled with a bottle Usually she sleeps through the night and wakes up around 5-6, I give her a bottle and she goes right back to sleep until 730.

I wonder why she's suddenly waking up so many times in the night? And how can she be so bright-eyed while i'm chugging coffee trying to stay awake?! lol. thanks for listening.. time for more coffee..

It could be teething. It could also be an age thing. Often when babies learn new skills they wake in the night to practice them.

I was thinking teething or growth spurt.

Bailey slept through the night, 8-8 from 6 weeks til almost 6 mos now for the past 4 weeks she has been waking up all hours of the night

I really hope it was just a one night thing!

it probably is teething.. it's just so frustrating not knowing how to get her to go back to sleep. last night we found her on her tummy all the way in the corner of her crib with her face pressed against her gloworm. lol!

I hope she settles down soon for you! I know how you feel, Bella is going through the same little spurt right now. She wakes up several times a night all of a sudden, for no reason. The past few nights I just watch her on the monitor and usually she falls back to sleep within 10 minutes or so. But I was wondering what was going on too. I was thinking maybe a growth spurt and/or teething too. Good luck!! BTW, I'm with you on the coffee thing! LOL

Kadence has been like that for almost 2 months now. Sometimes she eats, sometimes she just wants her pacifier. Lately, she's been waking up just to play. She'll lay in her crib for about an hour in the middle of the night talking and playing and then will go back to sleep on her own. I keep thinking she's teething, but she isn't. I think she just is so interested in everything that she wants to be awake so she doesn't miss anything.
