Are you doing anything now that you swore you would never do when you had kids?

Before I got pregnant with Thomas, I said I would never BF. Now I couldn't imagine not.
Before kids, I said I would never co-sleep, but now it depends on the child.
Before kids, I said I would not let my children watch t.v. play video games or go on the computer until they were a certain age.
Before kids, I said I was not going to parent like my parents, now I find I am exactly like them

I can't think of anything yet, but I know it's gonna come back to bite me in the butt.

Actually one thing is that I didn't want a super structured child. I wanted him to be able to fall asleep when we were out and about. He wont fall asleep anywhere other than his crib and is like clockwork. It makes for some fussy outings.

I have always said I would be a laid back Mom I am not that much. I am not strict or anything at least not all the time.

I thought I would have more patience but I found I don't

I'm not sure that there really is anything. I have always been pretty open minded when it came to my parenting.

Ditto!

I always said I wouldnt let having a baby stop us from doing the things we like to do. But Tegan only sleeps well in her crib and my life now revolves around her schedule and getting her back into her crib so she can have a good sleep.
