today. I made squash, carrots, and sweet potato.

It wasn't that bad just ran out of ice cube trays.

I think DH is going to be mad cause I used the trays we use for ice. I was planning on washing them and then reusing them for ice. Do you think that will be OK?

I think they will still be just fine to use for ice I run mine through the dishwasher after and except for the orange colored veggies they come out like new!

Carrots stain.... and if you use the dark orange sweet potatos not the yellow ones they will too

...Fun, isnt it?

Oh yeah the trays will be fine. After I made food (when I did it for DS, haven't done it for DD yet) I'd freeze it and once frozen I popped the cubes out and put them in ziplock backs and washed the trays.

If for some reason you don't want to reuse them for ice you can just pick up some cheap ones at the $ store.

No he hasn't had any yet. I am about to give him some squash his favorite not sure if he will like this one cause the recipe said to add 1 cup of rice and 1 cup of applesauce. I think the next time I will skip that part.

How long does it to take to freeze them?

I took out one tray and they weren't completely frozen but they popped out and I put them in a Ziploc bag.

Ye sit is fun but time consuming. Next time I will only make one thing at a time

Sounds like fun to me. I wish I had the energy and patience to make my own.

I believe it can take up to 7-10 tries at a food before you can know for sure if they like it.
