Do you feed your LO any "regular" food?

Bailey has pizza crust when we have pizza, mashed potato's, mushed carrots, the floret part of broccoli, and other soft foods whenever we eat. As soon as she gets the pincer grasp down, we will start putting chopped up food on her high chair tray.

Tegan gags if there are any lumps in any of her food so we are not quite there yet. Everything still has to be pureed pretty well.

Nope. I gave her mashed potatoes and she gagged then threw them up. Um, do they just gum on the pizza crust? I would be so afraid of her choking!

I give Sevrina lots of food I eat. We do the momma and baby bird method. She wants everything she sees me putting in my mouth and if she dont get it she screams like shes missing out

Yesterday was the first time we've let him have real food. We were at a restaurant and let him have a bread stick. He loved it... and it was the only thing that kept him patient!

Addison seems interested ... I have been tempted ... but she hasn't had anything other than her baby food yet.

I have the mesh bag thingy and was going to try it out.
Elise likes the bag thing ?

yup I put tons of stuff in there avacado, bannana, mushed up peas, grapes, and I think I will try peaches next. it just saves the step of pureaing it and Elise hates being fed she wants to do it herself

My Dh gave him a big slice of apple and watched him very closely and I gave him a taste of my cream of brocolli soup. That was his first taste of spices. He kept smacking his lips like he wanted more. I am starting to ease up a little.

I can't wait to try the mesh bags with A.J.. I tried it with Adriana when she was a infant and she did not like it.

definitely.. she gets tiny bits of whatever we're eating because she's so interested in it! rice, bread, potatoes, veggies, fish.. all kinds of stuff.

i bought one of those mesh bag things that screw on a plastic handle.. it looks like popsicle with a mesh bag on it. she doesn't really know how to hold the handle and eat it that way yet. what bags are you guys using? this was the only one i saw at babies r' us. :/
