I have a 15 year old stepdaughter. For her birthday our gift to her was a trip to NYC. She's always wanted to go. We only live about 2 hours away so we drove part way and then took the train in. We left DS with my parents because it would have been too much for him all day. We took Jillian though since I BF I can't be away from her all day. She did so great! I couldn't have asked for better. She's such a happy baby!
In NJ waiting for the train.

On the Staten Island Ferry wearing a hat because it got a bit chilly.
Thanks! She is a beautiful girl. If you are only about an hour away you should go one day. There's so much to do and a lot of it isn't that expensive. The Staten Island Ferry takes you from NYC to NJ and back and you go right past the Statue of Liberty and that's free.
