So we officially have joined the ranks of people with big mortgages and walls we can paint! yay! I'm still sick and I think the realtors & mortgage broker were trying to decide yesterday if their commission was worth sitting in a small room with me hacking up a lung but they stuck it out and we'll get our keys on Sunday after the sellers move out.

I know there were several of us all buying and/or selling houses right now...how's everyone doing with their house hunting or closings?

That's wonderful Lara!! Isn't it such a great feeling knowing you own a home? How far is it from where you live now?
We purchased this house in August and I was 5 months pregnant, plus living in Phoenix it is so hot I can't believe I survived packing and moving.
Hopefully you are feeling better and packing/moving won't be stressful for you!!

We are still trying to sell our house. We put it in a reators hands last week. ( we were doing for sale by owner for a couple weeks before we decided who we wanted to go through) Hopefully we sell it soon. As soon as we sell it our offer was already accepted for a house and 60 acres so that's where we will be moving.

It's maybe 10-15 miles from where we're currently living...about 20 mins in traffic, but in a really lovely neighborhood with excellent schools. I can't imagine how you did your move in AZ heat and pregnant - we were supposed to house hunt last spring/summer (we had just relo'd from DC) but between the morning sickness and the heat here I punted and said "next year" but now i'm paying for it because packing with an infant isn't turning out to be much easier!

we just closed the 28th! I've been picking up paint chips and looking at curtains all day! We just sold our house this week still have to have it inspected. I hope it goes well! We also are moving aout 20 minutes away from our current home!
