Peyton had her now bi-monthly blood draw this past Thursday. She was weighed (16lbs12oz-37%) and measured (27in-62%). They took the blood from her head again, per my request. I HATE seeing them try to dig for the veins in her little hands or feet when the veins in her head are so beautiful and easy to access. She took it like a champ as I held her hands and she looked at me crying. I made sure she was able to see me the whole time. Afer they were done she immediaely stopped crying and gave the wonderful nurse a huge teary-eyed smile.

We got the blood results this past Friday. Her level has gone up slightly (up either .04 or .004 - I can't remember) but still well below the abnormal range. So her meds will stay the same until her next appointment at her 9mos well-baby.

I thought for sure she would be actively crawling by now but she is more like scooting on her bottom. She will crawl a little but then sit and so on...

As you can see by the pictures she is on her knees already, however, once she's on her knees she's not exactly sure how to get down and will cry.

She's babbling A LOT and saying "dadada" but I don't think she associated it with dh yet. I do show her her daddy doll and pictures of dh and say dadada.... I can't wait for dh to see her in a few months while he's on leave.

Here are a few pictures from today...

She's a little nervous about the cat we are watching - the cat was behind me on the couch

Excuse the cracker on her face...
