how's you LO's napping going? how many times? what time in the day?

i think we are about to go to one nap he will not fall asleep before 11:30. If I could get him to do 11:30 till 12:30 or 1, that'd be perfect. sine I will be picking V up from school at 1:30.

She is still taking 2 naps a day. One about 2 hours after waking up (can last from 1-3 hours) and then the second one about 2 hours after waking up from her first nap (can last 1-3 hours).

She takes a long one in the late morning. usually 1.5-2.5 hrs. and then a short one anywhere between 3-6 for about 45 min to 1 hr.

I think she is trying to cut the afternon one out though. It's only happening about 4 days a week now

let me explain- if Adam naps at home its with me in my bed- which I want to STOP doing but I dont know how!

he will nap on the go but its much shorter than at home.

right now its usually 9am, 1pm, 4pm or just the first two.

Owen is still a two or 3 nap a day guy. He takes his first anywhere between 11-1 for a half hour to 3 hours(depending on what time he goes down) and then will take another at about 4-6 for usually less than an hour.

At home, Allison typically naps twice. One long nap in the late morning that lasts 2 hours and a 1 hour nap in the late afternoon. If we're out and about, forget it. She naps once and sometimes in the car. Usually, if we're at my in-laws, she's way too excited to take a nap.

One nap a day, after lunch, for about an hour and a half to two hours. Although sometimes she'll get real sleepy and take a morning one still...but not very often.

Oh, and Andrea, Eli still only naps with me too! (The long one.) I don't know how to fix it either.

For the most part Kaisen only takes one long nap. It all depends on when he wakes up in the morning. He usually goes down about 2-3 hours after waking up. He'll sleep 2.5-3.5 hours then be up till bedtime. If he takes an early or short nap, he'll take a half hour nap in the evening.
He doesn't fight naps. He makes it very obvious when he's tired, so I nurse him in my bed then, sleeping or not, I put him in his crib and he sleeps in there.

JoJo takes anywhere from no nap to 3 naps a day. Just depends on her mood and needs that day. Most days if she hasn't taken a nap by 11am then I will try to get her to nurse laying on me and then she is usually out...depending on what I am doing I will either hold her or lay her down on her pillows in the living room. Then she sometimes takes one in the early afternoon and then early evening. I do the same thing some naps are on me and others are on her pillows.

She has done wonderfully about sleeping by herself....I am so proud of her...she is actually in the living room on her pillows still asleep...lil Jimmy wakes up at 6 ever morning and she just isn't ready yet...lol

If we are out and about she will take cat naps in the car and that seems to be enough for her. She doesn't get cranky or anything if she hasn't slept.

I REALLY count on her taking these naps! Otherwise, I wouldn't get anything done!!

Paige still takes 2 a day but they range daily for lenghth! I'd say on average they are both 40 minutes. Sometimes she'll go longer for the first, but typically her second nap is between 30-40 minutes (not much of a nap that is for sure!)

J takes one nap starting at 11. It is anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours, usually 1.5 to 2

Most days its one nap about 1-2pm (he wakes up at like 10am) and lasts between 1.5-3hrs. Then a quick 20-40 min nap some days in the after noon.
