This sounds delish. I don't have a slow cooker. Do you think I could still make it?

I wouldn't be able to live without it! I love it so I can throw stuff in there in the morning while Maddy is still sleeping. Then at dinnertime, I just serve. Its sooo hard to cook with her her underfoot. Dh comes home from work around 6:30-7pm. When its ready, so its not like he can watch her while I cook. And only one pot to wash!!

i think you can make it you would just have to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't cook to fast.

You gotta go get a crock pot today!

ok so i have to say, this is the BEST potato soup i've ever made. next time i would leave out the celery since i think it was a bit odd and i didn't like the texture after being in the slow cooker all day. it took 1 minute to throw together, and it tasted amazing! i got the pre-cooked bacon to quickly microwave and then break into pieces atop each bowl. thanks for the recipe jess!
