Anyone still doing Shred?

I am on Day 17 of 30 days into my second round..
I have struggled a bit to find the drive lately.. But
Was TOTALLY motivated today.. no problem getting through workout today. I bought my size 4 jeans like a week ago.. and they were tight..not like super tight but just not as 'relaxed' as I like my jeans to fit.. I'm not into those skinny pants going on now LOL.. so I tucked them away in closet and just continued to wear my 6's.. Well today I was getting dressed in the am.. I noticed how REALLY baggy my size 6 jeans were..I mean really baggy! so I pulled those 4's out of the closet.. put them on.. and ya know what.. NOT even close to being tight anymore.. got on with no issues .. they fit PERFECT! Just perfect! So my dedication to working out is really paying off.. and that brought back my motivation today!
And I just realized..
I weighted myself this am.. And I am 151..
I am 1 lb from my second goal I set before I decided to stop trying to lose weight at 155.
Wow.. I'm just amazed! I totally made it! I know still a lb away.. and I know I am pretty much in maintenance.. But wow.. exercise is truly an amazing thing. With out even TRYING to lose weight anymore I have lost 4lbs doing my workout each day. It not only changes your body.. your endurance.. it helps with self esteem.. and helps build self confidence..at least for me it did! I know many say they can't stand Jillian Michaels.. for whatever reason.. but I love her.. I mean LOVE she is motivating.. I love all the encouraging she does through out her workout videos. Those little encouraging works are what drive me each day to do my work out.. most days I look fw to it! She really is amazing....

well done Candice you are an inspiration. I'm never going to get to 150lb.... i'm just going to be a fat heifer. *sigh*

still doing shred, did it last night, but didn't put my all into it like I could of, kids where driving me batty (it was their bed time). and just found it too emotional.

still haven't gotten my shred it with weights yet. I hope i do soon.

Candice--you seriously are an inspiration. 150 is my pipedream. I'll be happy if I can get to, and stay, around 160. That's what I was when I got married and I was around a size 10/12. I would love to be there again some day.

I don't know what I did, but my leg is hurting pretty badly (bone pain, not muscle). It's been hurting to the point where I have not been able to work out for the past week and it is driving me insane. I'm convinced that I'm going to pack on the weight again if exercise isn't an option.

I love Jillian too. She's not one of those happy people. Not that I don't like happy people--but I definitely don't like the happy workout instructors. She's tough. She makes you push yourself. She doesn't sugarcoat crap. That's why I like her.

Speaking of Shred It with Weights--is that the one with the kettle bells? I think I need something to ramp up the workout.

haven't got shred with weights yet, i had to order it online (aus ebay store), it was the only place i could find it.
My sister saw shred and she was like 'omg she wants you to do that', gez she's hard'. lmao.

That is awesome Candice. So proud of you. I just can't see to find the time to exercise. I will try soon when the kids are napping. It seems like Im so tired during that time and just want to relax during nap time. And then when they go to bed at 8pm I'm busy doing laundry, my shower etc. I know more excuses. I'm back on my low calorie portion of my diet again and hoping to get the last 10lbs off before Christmas. So far I'm down 3. I would love to fit into my wedding dress again which was a 4, but I don't see that happening until I get a tummy tuck.

thanks ladies!
I am sure with low carb and exercise you will Nicole!!

Matilda, actually the shred with weights I find is LESS intense. Kinda different exersise, not as much cardio.. more upper body. that is why I keep switching off days going back and forth from work out to work out.
Sorry you hurt yourself Sarah.. hope it heals quickly! How are you feeling today?
And that is EXACTLY why I love her too!

congrats Candice!
unfortunately I have not touched the DVD in weeks. Since the Jumping Jack insident, the back of my knees have not been the same. I have a hard time standing up and then I have to wait and then slowly walk. It is terrrible I know. I have lost weight by eating less though, and have done the tredmill some. I have only lost about 14 pds though. Which in nothing compared to where I need to be.
Thanks for the inspiration!

Candice--doing better. Apparently all my leg needed was a couple of days of rest (and proper workout shoes, which I now have). Getting back on the workout wagon tomorrow--hopefully in time to lose some before my weigh-in on Thursday.

I was reading about the Shred with weights and it looks like it is just a kettlebell workout. I have the Kettleworx dvds that I really like. Might try to start with those since they are pretty low impact.
