I am RIDICULOUSLY sore today. Wow.
My week is blah. I keep sabatoging myself with food. And when Chris is late getting home (like he is ALL THE TIME these days) I don't cook dinner and instead snack on crap all night. Blah.

Throw away ALL the bad foods Kellie! That way you have to actually go to the store to do the sabotaging. It is hard though when you have to just cook for you and the little one.
Keep at it!

It's not necessarily bad foods. It's just stuff I'm not supposed to have. Like Elizabeth's bunnygrahams, or granola bars, or real cheese, etc, etc, etc. The only "junk" we keep in the house is a big tub of ice cream and a box of small bags of variety chips. Go figure I usually leave those alone. I eat stuff that's OK, but not when you eat a lot. My #1 problem is when we run out of my stuff, so maybe I need to make a grocery run today.
Last night he was unexpectedly late, so I ordered pizza.

That was what I have been doing for years while struggling to lose. I am not sure if you remember, but this last spring/summer I got myself up to being able to jog a 5k and even ran in one. I was going to the gym 3-5 days a week for at least an hour and busting my butt. However, I was only sort of watching what I was eating. I only lost like maybe 10 pounds and then it wouldn't budge any further. I think I needed the accountability with food since I just keep losing and am still not working out. Obviously my little snacks here and there and out of control portion sizes were worse than what I thought they were!

Yeah, I did go to the store the other night and it's *better" but still not good. Working on it! Played racquetball with Chris yesterday morning and OMG, I feel like I was hit by a truck today. I am expecting a gain this week. Boooo. But you know all I can do is make sure not to quit.

Yay for loose pants!! Time to pull out some smaller ones!
Kellie...that is right! Maintaining is better than gaining!
I weigh in tomorrow. I am not expecting good news. AF is visiting this week and I ate all of my WPs this week. Weeks that I have done that I don't lose much and I feel like this week I won't be so lucky to just not lose much. I didn't go over point though so we will see.

I was up .4 of a pound. I figured I would be. TMI but I am a bit backed up, on AF, and didn't make the greatest choices a couple of times this week. I stayed in my weekly points though so I am not feeling too bad about that .4.
Good news though in that I updated my measurements for an 8 week total and I am down 20.25 inches so far!!!! That seems so crazy!!

I bet that .4 is water weight! You are doing so great; congrats on the inches lost!
I am pretty sure I'm going to have a gain, but I hope to knock it out and then some this week. The grocery budget starts over on Tuesday and the beginning of the month is always easiest. Went to the gym today and did legs and 30 minutes on the elliptical, and am hoping to hit up yoga tomorrow morning. I have been back on the food plan the last 2 days.

Awesome Kellie!! So you plan your month's meals? I have always wanted to do that but it is hard living with Ryan's family. What are some of your go-to healthy meals?

Ha ha! No, I don't plan meals. It's just I buy whatever I want/need when the grocery budget is fresh, but as the month winds down I try to make due with what we have so as not to go over.
My fave go-to healthy stuff is all soups and stews. Replace all butter with olive oil, milk with almond or skim milk, cheese with ff cheese, etc.

This one has added sugar, so I do it sparingly. I use sugar in the raw because it is better for us and makes the dish less sweet. I also use chicken breasts.
I can't think of any others right now...
Tonight my husband was hugging me and put his hands on my midsection and told me my waist is coming back.

I am not much of a soup person but Ryan's family is. I'll have to test some of these out with them!
This being sick business has me not eating much at all. I am ssssssssssssooooooooo miserable. Just needed to share. I am rarely a whiner but this freaking flu virus deserves it.

So being sick for the week paid off in one department...I lost 6 pounds this week!!! That brings my total to 26.8 pounds! With this weight loss I have met my 10% goal! My current weight is 212.2 so my next goal is 199!
Can I just say I am LOVING this! It feels nice to finally be doing this...and be doing it pretty easily and well! My body must be loving this weight gone!!

That is so awesome Tracy!!! You are doing great! And I agree...it teaches you better choices so it can work for your whole life! Yay for SMALLER sized pants!!!!!!
I struggled yesterday though. I have been wanting a shamrock shake for awhile now and decided to go get it. 15 points later and I want ANOTHER one. I also had a naughty dinner too of cheeseburger chowder which calculated up to be 18 points per bowl of soup. I had TWO. Oh well...back on and will work up do activity points to make up for it!
