You think then I can keep the crap Thomas is saying out of her vocab?

When I just asked Thomas to clean up the wii remotes, he rolled his eyes at me and told me to give him a "friggen break" WHAT?!

This is after last week having accuse Tom and I of "doing sex"

I swear I want to keep them all home. I hate the crap he is learning....

I'm so sorry Nicole. This is why I homeschool. I know you can't protect your kids from every little thing, but at least with homeschooling I can pick and choose who my son is around. And yes, he's around other kids. He also attends classes outside of the home, but with other homeschoolers. He hasn't brought home anything bad or innapropriate.

Again, obviously I can't shelter my child, but I can make sure he finds out about things the proper way. Looks like you're gonna be needing to have some chats about what is ok language for adults but not children . Why oh why can't we go back to the time when kindergartners were just little kids and just wanted to play?? Makes me sad.

That sucks! I'd be pretty pissed. I hate it when kids have potty mouth... it'd be so frustrating especially if you aren't the one using it.

I agree with Catherine. I think about homeschooling pretty frequently. Kids just grow up so early these days and there really is no reason for them to. It's sad.

He's probably picked it up from a kid at school who has older siblings. I'm sure when the time comes Bailey will teach other kids things, and they will take it home and shock their parents. I know most of the habits Jassie has picked up from kinder has been from kids with older siblings.

I'm sorry.. Must be another child.. My daughter goes to school with preschoolers and has not picked up any nasty words or habits.. Of course the kids she's around are well behaved.. Another thing to watch out for is the type of music you listen too.. I've heard kids pick up bad words through music.. That's why I only play positive music around my children..

funny that you mentioned this.. This is why I REFUSE to move to the city.. I don't want my daughter around that crud.. Luckily, I live in a place where she won't be influenced by that kind of stuff..

Think the threes are bad? Wait till they are four. In the words of Jasmine "I'm four now so I know everything!".

three is by far the HARDEST age. 4 is still a bit tough in the beginning but it does get MUCH easier, until the attitude kicks in, but fortunately it's not nearly as bad as three..
