How does your toddler handle time-outs if you implement them?
Maddie is really weird! We have started to do time-outs with her and I give her two warnings, then she gets picked up and placed in the naughty spot. She doesn't even protest! She sits there and she watches us but doesn't move or do anything. We do a minute, then when time is up, I go back to her, take her hands and explain why "that xyz" was not nice then tell her I love her. She stands up and then gives me a kiss.

Isn't she supposed to be kicking and screaming and escaping?

I think it depends on the toddler how they will react. Cora hasnt had a time out for a long time and she didnt understand it the last time. There is a little boy at daycare who gets them all the time and he acts more like Maddie.

We really haven't had to do time outs. Except technically I did give her a time out the other day because she threw a HUGE fit over her sippy and threw it! So I made her sit in her crib. She screamed for a few minutes then went to sleep so I think more than anything she was tired! Shaye is funny because I will tell her no and she will usually stop or she will throw a fit and then stop, but overall, she is a really easy kid!

Lol I can tell Sarah to go to the corner and she will willingly go there and sit! Does she understand the whole concept though....I don't think so. She is just copying what we do for Jonathan. Really though, she is pretty good and pretty mellow!
