Were you alive?

How old were you?

Do you remember where you were and what you were doing?

I was about a year old. So I don't remember.

But I did a report in middle school on Christa McAuliffe and learned a lot about the explosion and did some interviews with folks who did remember it. So sad

This is a stupid, embarrassing question... I should know this... but is today the anniversary??

If it was, I wasn't born. I was born in Feb 1986.

It's so weird to think that Sept 11th, a time that I will never forget where I was, will probably be foreign to Levi.

Yep, I was alive and 6. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I had been playing in the back of the house and saw it happening on a small tv we had back there, I immediately ran to the front of the house to see what was going on. My mom was crying. I remember it all very vividly, the emotion, the news broadcasts, watching President Reagan speak. That day has always really stuck with me I guess because it's really my first memory of a national disaster.

I was in school, in 1st grade and it came over the loud speakers to turn our tv's on. All the teachers were crying. It was my first national disaster too.
One of those events that I will always know where I was and what I was doing.

Wow, I'm old! LOL I was a few months shy of 11 years old, and I remember I was at school in a classroom on the second story.

I was 6, in first grade I think. I remember a girl in my class telling about it saying they could see body parts fly out of the explosion (not true) but it's my only memory of it.
