Collin and Bailey have needed their 3 year and 15 mo check ups for about a month now. Everytime we were scheduled to go, we'd get a call asking to reschedule due to snow.

Anyway we met a(nother) new doc in the office. This has been the first one I've actually really liked and didn't treat me like some random kid who keeps popping out babies.

Bailey
24#2oz (70%); 30 3/4" (50%); head circ: 47 cm (80%) <-she has her daddy's big head.
Doc said she had a huge belly...
Neosporin on her belly button. She has an outie and likes to pick at it.
Told to keep an eye on her birth mark on her inner thigh as it's feeling a teeny bit raised. Also asked me to take a picture of it once a month to watch for changes.
Her vocab is right where it should be, no concerns, she is 99% perfect.
We talked about her poop problems as well. She is going every day, but it's super, super hard and way too big for her size....Told to limit milk to just 8-12 oz a day, told to increase nursing if possible as the problem began once she started nursing just 1-2x a day. Miralax for her for 1 week and told to call back.
MMR shot.

Collin
32 lbs (50%); 39" (75%) <-first for us, he is usually in the 50% for both..
No dr has ever been worried ab his speech until this appt. figures now that he doesn't shut up, they can finally hear him talk. Dr, Med Student, and Nurse could barely understand anything he said, but was super impressed when they walked in and saw the paper on the exam table was covered in Collin's writing and drawing "Collin" "Bailey" "ABC 123" and tons of smiley faces.
Did a blood test due to his new fascination with licking. Licking me, licking doors/door nobs, licking tables, walls, the cat...
We talked about the constipation, and are to limit his dairy, and give him Milk of Mag for two days and Miralax for a week and call back.
He got his 3rd polio vax.

I couldn't help but LOL at his licking. I swear sometimes kid can be so odd! LOL

Bailey sounds like she's doing great. I don't have a 15 month for Abby but now that Bailey got a shot, I'm nervous. Was she up to date on shots?

I wouldn't worry about Collin's speech. He's come so far just since I've "known" you. He'll continue to thrive and soon you won't ever be able to tell he was delayed.

He just turned 3 and he's bigger than Emily who will be 4 in June! She only weighs 31lbs. LOL

Paula some docs do all the shots at the 12 month check mine gave us the option to spread it out a bit more, that is why we had a 15 month check
But it sounds like they are doing well hope they start pooping better for you

I couldn't help but laugh at the licking of things too. Lucy licked the welcome mat at Kinder yesterday. Yuck!

Glad they are both growing well. Sounds like a pretty good appointment all around.

Mostly she was, except for this one. We missed one appt in her first year right before our old pedi. passed away.

I am so not worried ab Collin, I just found it funny this was the first time anyone has said anything..

Glad they're both doing so well! I feel for you with the poop problems, though. Collin and Deagan both had problems with constipation, at some point, and it was horrible. I hope, for all of you, that the Miralax works.
