What chores can you do when your LO is awake?

Is there anything they "help" you with?

Are there any chores you save for when they're napping?

Any tips for when your LO is making your chores harder?

When the boys are awake I can pick up around the house, do laundry and dishes

Abe is pretty good about helping to pick up toys

When they nap, I nap

When Abe is being a PIMA I stick him in his high chair and feed him so I can get things done (the ONLY time this ever happens is in the evenings when I'm trying to cook dinner and he's on me like white on rice.

I'm VERY fortunate, if I'm cleaning they all want to help, or run into another room. So I can do anything I want when their awake-except fold laundry.

Bailey LOVES to help unload the dishwasher, clean flat surfaces or dust with her wipes. She uses the play vacuum while Thomas vacuums. (I haven't vacuumed in over a month!! Thomas does it every afternoon for me

Folding laundry though.....Bailey likes to help, but just hands me clothing way too fast, or pulls down what I already folded.

I usually clean when both girls are home so that they can play together while I clean. Lucy loves to turn the washing machine on and always helps with that. I clean everyday and try and stay on top of it. Often I break it down into smaller amounts to make is easier to handle. We also get the girls to help clean up the living room after dinner before they go to bed. That way its clean and they are learning to look after their things by putting them away.

If they are making them harder, then I stop. There is usually a reason they are making it harder and its usually either hunger or they want me to play with them. Once I take care of that I can usually clean what I need to.
