Did you decide to take the other job offer, Cathy?

SOOO glad March is here!

We're dealing with flood issues in NE Ohio today. Thank God we're no where near a flood zone but the mess is insane!!

Hi! I'm excited for March! Baby month, plus St. Patrick's day.

I hope everyone's alright, Paula! We had major flooding about a year ago and the 2nd biggest mall in the state still isn't back open. It was crazy, though, for all the flooding and messes there were (whole state was shut down), there was not a single injury or death.

oh man!

Thomas' bus never showed, and Bailey pooped RIGHT after we walked out the door. So I didn't want to bring her in the school. So I dropped Thomas in the circle with the sec. guard and had him walk Thomas to the door. Thomas told me he is not speaking to me any more.

One woman was carried away in her car by the flooding yesterday. They found her today, dead.
We had HORRIBLE flooding a few years ago. Everything was shut down, bridges broke. There is this spot close to my Mom by the river and then you go up this big hill, but those down the hill were all wiped out. They had to condemn all the houses because they were just destroyed! Several apartments and many many homes.

This year "the" bridge is closed AGAIN. It's so low to the river it floods easily, it's under 7 feet of water!

We drive by the river in many spots going to my Moms and yesterday it was SOOO high and just whooshing! It's crazy how strong that thing can be.

Paula- I sent them my resume just waiting to hear back from them

I only have 4 more days left here until I am done. I can't wait.

I hope the flooding stops for you guys. I seen it on the news.

I love how this board looks right now.

My SIL is having a b-day party and the theme is 80's (she was born in the 80's). So I'm bidding on a NKOTB shirt and I already bought pink and black slouch socks and t-shirt clips. LMAO I need to go to the $ store and see if I can find a big hideous scrunchy. LOL
I've got to go to the thrift store and see if I can find DH an ugly pair of stone washed jeans.

Think you could raid my neighbours wardrobe for clothes. I swear she thinks the 80's never left. Its all big hair, tight jeans and leg warmers.

Mellie - Are big shoulder pads involved too?

Billy slept through the night last night! Didn't get up one time!

An 80s party does sound like fun! I wish I lived for more of the 80s... I never got to fully appreciate the styles .

I hear ya nicole.. I'm so lazy today. I'm in such a grumpy mood, too.

At times yes. The jeans are always high waisted and stone washed. Often teamed with a midriff baring top too. I gotta see if I can get pics.

ETA: I must say though that its not as bad as the young lass who wears fluro coloured underwear under skin tight black leggings.

Now that is something I'd like to see a picture of. I need a laugh!

ugh, I gotta get up at 5 am to go to the program. Only positive there is my dose is dropping from 13 mg, to 11. I need to get my meth. counselor to finally meet with me. I want to get set on a detox plan where my dose drops 1 mg every other week. Theyll probably tell me it's too much too soon, but I WANT OFF. I am sick of this **** controlling my **** life. I hate not being able to do ANYTHING at night that may prvent me from going in if I'm on recall. I hate having to check in if I want to go away for a few days. I hate ALL OF IT and while yes, I may still deal with the urge to use, I'll never know unless I try, and I could stop if at any point. I just dont want to keep waiting MONTHS before I can go down a teeny amount.

/rant. Sorry.

80's are back here, Not quite as bad but back. Not thrilled about that. It was ugly then and is still ugly now!

Good Luck Nicole!! I hope you meet up and come to a plan that works for everyone.

Cathy, I hope Brandon sleeps better for you. Sucks trying to go through the day when you need tooth picks to hold your eyes open.

I need to go to the store today, out of milk. I've been putting it off. It's so cold out there though, I HATE going out.
