I didn't realize gas prices jumped up almost 40 cents since the last time I bought gas.

How much are you paying per gallon/litre?

According to NewHavenGasPrices.com it's between 3.42-3.78, around here. The place we go is at $3.47/reg unleaded.

I'm not sure yet.. I only fill up every 2 weeks.. But I think it's 3 something..

I'm sure it will be high since I only go to Chevron to fill up..

Edit to add..They predict the prices to go up to $5 a gallon during the summer months.. Crazy!

We paid $3.69 earlier this week when we filled up. Gas around here is crazy. Hubby said yesterday he saw it for $3.99. It varies so much here....one station could be $3.55 and the one right across the street could be over $4. Thank goodness we're moving soon and hubby will lose the commute. If it's $5 everywhere else in the country it will be at least $5.50 here. Ugh.

They said on the news that the cost of oil hasn't been this high since 2008.

I'm not sure the price, but it usually costs me around $25 to fill up my tiny tank and it was over $40 last time . Ridiculous!

I remember when I lived in Kansas it got below a dollar once. Oh those were the days!

I had to do maths for this.

$5.70 per gallon... Takes about $80 to fill the tank...

Hasn't been below $5 per gallon in over a year.

Monica- the last time gas was below a dollar I was a senior in high school. I remember filling up my car each week and paying $10. It was 99 cents a gallon. Oh the good ole days!

3.23? That still seems so high, yet I wish it ws that price.

I feel like I should be much older when I say this, but I remember when gas was $1.13, of course that was 10-11 years ago, or when it was $1.87 price when I got my first car/license..

on Saturday I paid $3.34 in the town next to me. That seems to be on the lower end. Most other places were around 3.45-3.49/gallon.

This probably shows my age LOL! But i remember when gas was $.95/gallon! My mom would give me a $5.00 bill and tell me to fill up the tank, and it would

I remember when gas was only a dollar something and it use to cost me around $20 to fill up my car.. Now it's close to $30..

I drove by Costco today and for regular it was $3.11.. I know that will change because in the Spring time is when vacationers come up here with their RV's, so when they come the prices will rise..
