Ok, I'm not on here much, but have a question for those of you with LOs Elijah's age. Are diaper changes a nightmare lately? He is AWFUL when it comes to changing diapers. Wet ones only a little more like it's just an inconvenienc to stop for a second. But poopy ones it is a screaming fit, holding him down, chasing him to get him wiped, he's kicking and screaming the whole time and when I'm done I am sweating and shaking from my nerves. He had a diaper rash a couple weeks back from his antibiotic, but that's cleared up. He's still awful, what's going on? This afternoon he cried so hard I thought he was going to throw up, and then continued to fuss and complain when it was done. Give me a break...ugh.

I think it's normal for this age. Abe hates it too. No advice here either.

Tegan is the same. It is awful, I'm actually worried I'm going to hurt her when I pin her down and she is thrashing so much. She seems to do this for like a week every once in a while.

We went through that phase too. It's hard and nothing I can tell you other than give em a special toy or something.

Yea, so were mine, minus maybe one week here and there. Then Bailey turned 15 mos.

She completely freeze her entire body with her legs together making it impossible to get a dipe under her and then between the legs. I'm fortunate, she doesn't kick, but she does that, and then tosses and attempts to run from me...

You would think they'd want to get the stink out of their diaper! Right now Elijah walked by me and STINKS!!! I need to change him, but dread it so much. I hope like others it is just a phase and he hurries out of it. Off to the fights...wish me luck!

Lucy loves getting her nappy changed. She goes and grabs one and lays down with it until we change her. Doesn't wiggle or squirm at all.

Bailey does this, then fights, as soon as I try to put the new one on.

I changed Xander on the changing table when I am home and he is fine. but the minute I turn around or bend over to get something he is rolling over or sitting up but then I put him back down and he is fine.

If he is changed on any other service he is all over the place and doesn't stay still.

Sounds like the rash scarred him from diaper changes. He thinks they will hurt now.

I hope he gets better with time.
