We don't celebrate St. Patrick's day.. I never did as a child and I don't have the need to celebrate it now.. Maybe it could be because we are not Irish..

No Irish in me (as far as I know).. Just German and Filipino.. I'm first generation American..

Yup! Growing up, it was the biggest holiday party in our house by far. My parents would have a couple hundred people, something like 90 pounds of corned beef, our friends irish band, a stage for us to irish dance on (overboard much?!). We always danced in the parade. It was something, that's for sure!

I have a smaller version of the party every year (except this one ). I usually make awesome corned beef and cabbage (my mom's recipe) and Irish soda bread (my great great grandma's recipe). I'm a little bummed that I didn't feel like taking it on this year... it seems SO weird.

Do you have any Irish in ya?

100%... all my great grandparents are from Ireland

No Irish in us, and the most I ever celebrated was in college

We're going to do some fun crafts I found on a blog this week.

No Irish in me. Hubby just informed me a week or so ago that he has some. He said 'where do you think our last name came from?'. Hmmm hadn't thought it lol!

I haven't ever really celebrated it. Not even with green beer! Won't do any crafts this year, maybe next. When Ben's bigger we'll study St. Patrick the actual person.

We do corned beef and cabbage (blech!)

Our welcome sign on our door, is a St Patties day decoration, but it stays up year round.

We usually do some craft of some sort, and make green hand prints,

This year, Thomas is learning about the holiday and the st. in school.

We don't do much.
I'll wear green if I'm going out, dress the girls in green.
I'll make DH a green beer and the girls green milk for dinner and try to have an "Irish" meal.
We never go to the parade because it's always just too cold and normally on a weekday and Kayla has school and DH works.
