Levi just started "helping" this past week. He'll try to wipe his own face, wipe up his spilled milk, and I can sometimes encourage him to pick something up for me. I have a feeling he's going to go into full helping mode when the baby comes.
I hope he does. Thomas used to LOVE fetching me diapers and the wipes, and then putting them away after each change, and he liked to wipe Collin's butt. And help with bath time, and sing him 'rock a baby' when I nursed him.
Collin on the other hand NEVER tried to help with Bailey, other than jamming a binky in her mouth at full force.
Bailey has an obsession with wipes and likes to clean EVERYTHING with them
And she likes to throw EVERY THING in the garbage as well.. I have a feeling that's were most of our magnets went...

Now that's being a help!
I make sure Levi doesn't see me throw anything away, so he doesn't start that! It'd be so easy to lose a lot of stuff that way.
When I nannied, the little girl was asking where to put her ballet slippers and I said "somewhere safe." The next week I couldn't find them and asked her where she put them. She said "The garbage in my room. I never see anyone go in there!" Too funny, but she was a little sad when she realized why they weren't there anymore.
Abe loves to wipe things down, like his face or the table when he spills milk. He doesn't usually start wiping until I go to do it and then it's like he wants to be the one to do it. He's always really good about helping us pick up toys.
