You've all seen the new do, so I was wondering, other than just wearing it down and straight, like I've been doing, I was wondering what else I could do, that could be fun and easy.

All my life I've mostly worn my hair up, in a messy bun or in pig tails. Only wearing it down for special occasions and even then it would be up before I was home.

What are some fun things I could do? Like I like the look of it kind sticking out at the bottom... kind of like:

Or even curling it a bit for a wedding I have to go to in June, kind of like:

And I like the "messy" look as well...

Anyway, I *SUCK* at doing hair, and anytime I attempy *anything* other than keeping it straight I end up with super hard hair from hairspray, mousse, or gel.

Anyone have any "easy" tips to add some sort of fun to it?

Also.... my hair has like NO volume at all, especially in back.. since the cut I've been able to get more in the front/sides but am totally stuck with the back..

I am soooo feeling like a little kid. When it comes to hair and make up, I just totally suck.

I'm not the person to ask. All I do is straighten mine. Then I either just wear is loose or pull it back, either in a pony or just the front off my face.

Hot rollers will give you the look in the second pic, but they do take some practice, so don't give up. The first one looks like it was done with either a paddle brush or a large round brush. You can find tons of how to videos on youtube.

I straighten mine mostly, or wear it in heidi braids. I've gotten lazy!

I just got my hair cut a few weeks ago, so I can finally wear it down again. I'm awful about getting into the bun slump.

I've been straightening it, blow drying with a round brush (takes longer), or I use a curling iron.

If I don't feel like drying it, I do one braid in the back, two braids, two low buns, or a high messy bun.

Sometimes after I style my hair, I pull two chunks from the sides back into a barrette or put two bobby pins on top to make the "poof"... not a snooki poof, though, very modest .

I want to get some hot rollers... they sound fun.

I agree with the hot rollers.

I am also not the person to ask. I have short hair and I just blow dry it with a round brush!
