1. Who is the ONE artist/band that you could listen to non-stop? Counting Crows
2. If you could have 3 CD's to listen to on a cross country drive who's would you pick? James Blunt's new CD (it's really upbeat and not so morose like the first one!), My Chemical Romance's newest cd, and probably some Counting Crows or maybe even Dixie Chicks. Hmmmm.....I hate that it's only 3!
2. If you are out wit your girlfriends what is your go to fun music? yeah, this doesn't happen. lol When I was younger it was fun, 80's music, like the Go-go's.
3. If you & your DH/SO could go to one concert together to see a band that you both love who would it be? Jack Johnson. We saw him a few years ago and it was wonderful!
4. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand? We like a lot of the same stuff but he also likes Rap and I hate it. I like country and he hates it.

2. If you could have 3 CD's to listen to on a cross country drive who's would you pick? This is hard! My top three is always changing. For a long drive, I'd have to pick (for now) Sigh No More by Mumford and Sons, Bring It On by Gomez, and The Resistance by Muse. This all good car music that would keep me awake! Check all of these out if you haven't heard them! But I have SOOOO many other favorites!
3. If you are out wit your girlfriends what is your go to fun music? I don't really go out with my girlfriends! But back in high school or college my friends and I listened to a LOT of Beatles. Maybe some Lilith Fair type stuff as well, with some Pink Floyd and Queen thrown in there.
4. If you & your DH/SO could go to one concert together to see a band that you both love who would it be? Well, we enjoy a lot of concerts together. But the obvious pick is REM since we are friends with the band.
5. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand? We have a lot of similar tastes, but I'm not much a fan of his punk collection and he's iffy on my hippy dippy music. We meet in the middle a LOT though, and we have about 80% similar taste.

2. If you could have 3 CD's to listen to on a cross country drive who's would you pick? Coldplay mixed CD, Taylor Swift (hello guilty pleasure, lol) & & Brett Dennen mixed CD
2. If you are out wit your girlfriends what is your go to fun music? Ha, not that I go outanymore but I have a few mixed 'going out' CD's that are awesome Mixed with Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Ace of Base, Lady GaGa, Lynard Skynard, you know...the good stuff!
3. If you & your DH/SO could go to one concert together to see a band that you both love who would it be? Probably Rascal Flatts, Zac Brown Band or something neutral. We like some of the same music but he likes a lot of rap & although I adore most Lil Wayne songs because he cracks me up & Usher is just SEXY, I can't imagine seeing either in concert. lol.
4. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand? Some the rap artists he likes...Jamie Foxx being one of them. It's one of his top favorites & I'm soooo tired of hearing it! lol. To be fair though, he doesn't really like some of the country music that I like either.

Stevie Wonder's greatest hits, Supertramp Breakfast in America, Rick James' Street Songs
2. If you are out wit your girlfriends what is your go to fun music?
uh when I use to go out with my guy friends...the sillier the better, lots of 80's cheese and dance music.
3. If you & your DH/SO could go to one concert together to see a band that you both love who would it be?
hmmm. tough we dont like much of the same stuff. if I had to pick it would be Stone Temple Pilots
4. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand?
DH is a huge fan of 90's grunge...and the #1 band of that era that I couldnt stand then, and still cant, is Nirvana. STP was the only band out of that genre that I liked.

1. Who is the ONE artist/band that you could listen to non-stop? U2 - they have so many different styles over the years (all good) that I could have a variety without having to swap artists!
2. If you could have 3 CD's to listen to on a cross country drive who's would you pick? Hm, tough one... The Essential Stan Getz (for mellow time), Republica (for rocking out techno driving), and I'll cheat and choose some sort of compilation like one of our wedding CDs or Monsters of Rap or a good version of Now That's What I Call Music that has a good mix. I don't think I coudl only choose 3 artists.
3. If you are out wit your girlfriends what is your go to fun music? We're up for most anything, but our group all likes Guster and they're pretty fun and upbeat. We also have a special connection with the Spice Girls, so that would be a silly back up option.
4. If you & your DH/SO could go to one concert together to see a band that you both love who would it be? U2, no question. We saw them in college, on our honeymoon, and shortly after James was born. They put on an amazing show and we both love them.
5. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand? He is a fan of Tool and other angry, heavy on the yelling rock. I can appreciate that there are musical talents in there (unlike some really heavy metal where it is strictly noise) but I can't listen to more than 2 songs without getting irritated.

I was really hoping to get Mumford and Sons for Christmas, and as soon as I can justify the mini-splurge, it's at the top of my must get list. I haven't heard of Gomez- will definitely check them out.
Muse frigging rocks... we were SO mad that we missed them opening for U2 by one concert date/ location. I'd have loved to have seen them live. Their song "Knights Of Cydonia" is the one song I break my rule of "no really loud music in front of the baby" with; I've been known to turn it up to 11 on the stereo and teach James how to air guitar or drum to it and then sing at the top of my lungs. We may or may not have gotten out pots and pans for a true air guitar experience once of twice.

Usually whatever is on the radio, because not many of my friends share my music tastes

There is actually a concert coming up with Korn and Disturbed as headliners that DH and I are both dying to see... but we think it might be right around my duedate. So much for that! But DH and I go to concerts all the time, it's our favorite thing to do together.
5. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand?
Fortunately, DH and I have pretty much the same taste in music aside from a few things I like that he doesn't seem to like. For example, my guilty pleasure: Kelly Clarkson. Can't really get DH to listen to her!
Honestly, I NEVER get to listen to my music anymore or pay attention to pop culture so this will be hard to answer!!

2. If you are out wit your girlfriends what is your go to fun music? I don't even remember the last time this happened! I'd be so happy for a girl's night out I'd listen to anything. lol.
3. If you & your DH/SO could go to one concert together to see a band that you both love who would it be? Probably U2 or Counting Crows
4. If you & your DH/SO has different taste in music who does he like that you can't stand? We like the same bands
Oh, and can I add Alanis Morissette to my "girls night" fun CD?? I clearly remember screaming her entire CD on the way to beach week with my girls after I graduated from high school
