so I've had Adams toddler bed set up for months, he loves to go to it, lay on it, uses it to look out the window haha.. I'm not in a super rush to have him sleep in it, I do have a while til the new baby arrives and even then the baby will probably sleep in the bassinet in my room. So I've got time, I just have no clue where to start... my biggest fear is it will cause him to wake up and play

any tips? anyone doing it now?

I have no tips, I wish I had already started this process with Logan but we haven't yet. I conned my mom into giving me my baby sisters old bunk bed for Logan. I was going to go the toddler bed route but he moves sooo much in his sleep that I think he would fall our early in the night & it would wake him (& me, & baby) up.

SOLID WOOD KIDS BUNK BEDS / WHITE TWIN FULL BUNK BED FOR SALE - Toronto - Home - Furniture - Garden Supplies - solid wood beds for sale The bed looks really similar to that, the bottom is a full & the top is a twin & it's a yummy dark color.

I'm curious to see if he stays in it once we get it, I have my fingers crossed!!

We moved to the toddler bed at 12 months and a month later to a double bed. Just make it fun. we had absolutly 0 issues and didnt lose any sleep over it, we still have a 14 hour sleeper with a 2-3 hour nap during the day.
Just don't be nervous!!

I would like to get a bed for Ethans room soon. I know the baby will be in our bed for the first 6months if not more. But naps means I will need two places for them. I also don't want Ethan to have too much change after baby gets here. So I think I should move him before baby. But dh thinks we should wait.

We are moving Wes in a week or two. We bought his bed and we have a video baby monitor coming in the mail. He can climb out of his crib, but doesn't during the night. I don't want him to get hurt though.

Since Graysen never slept in a crib, I don't think she knew any different.

Right now we have her on a full mattress on her bedroom floor. The reason it isn't on a frame yet is that the frame is also the crib and our neighbors are borrowing our crib since theirs got recalled a month before their baby was born. They will be returning it to us after their baby is done with it (probably next spring) and then we will convert it to the frame.
