A re-introduction

Hi. I don't know if you remember me but my name is Missa and my daughter is Harper, she just turned 2 on March 29th. I started to join you guys some time last year but got shy. At the time I wasn't sure if Harper was going to follow in her brother's footsteps and be on the Autism spectrum and some of the stuff that your kids were doing was above her so it made me think that she was delayed. Actually she was delayed a bit but now she's caught up and seems to be completely neurotypical and I think a bit of the difference between a lot of the kids on here and her was that she was born at the very end of March. So with all of that being said I was hoping I could join you guys...again.

Even if your daughter is/was delayed don't feel like you can't post here. We're not all on the same page developmentally and that is ok

cody is behind most of the kids here but we think that is due to his lack of growth but he seems to have caught up to almost everything except talking. He will get it though!

Thanks ladies. I didn't post to save my own sanity. It would hurt me terribly to read about kids doing things that my daughter wasn't doing yet. I didn't want to spend my whole time being jealous.

But she's proving to be a pretty typical little pain in the butt toddler and I'm loving every freaking second of it, even the bad stuff and need people to talk to about it. She's just started talking about two months ago and just a week or so ago she started picking up new words every day. A couple of days ago she showed me that she recognizes her letters and yesterday I found out she can call some of the letters by name. Blew me away. I'm just so proud of her and I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
