congratulations! i'll be honest, i don't know you and would have preferred somebody who has been with the PR from the beginning. i also think you should have consulted the members of the PR first and asked how they feel about you running for cohost. but i do wish you all the best!

There were a few recent threads talking about "who do you think should be/apply for host" so you had an opening to jump in. It feels like a stranger went in the backdoor vs other longtime members announcing their plans.

I mean HONESTLY. What do people expect? Someone comes in that most of us don't know at all (including me), and not only applies to be co host without consulting us, but then GETS IT??? If she was a memeber of this room before, I sure don't remember her, and I've been here since the beginning. We want someone that we know, that's been here with us for a while. Not someone we don't that comes in and runs up their recent post count to win it. It was bs from the beginning, and we ALL knew what was going on once she started posting a lot.

Also Kim, I don't think anyone is trying to make you feel unwelcome, and I would certainly hate to have you feel that way or see you leave.

You have to understand, we are a very close knit group, and we have been since the beginning. We feel as if we really know each other. Having an "outsider" or "new member" come in and take over really burned us, since we already had someone else we wanted as co host since nicole left. We are very hospitable to new members joining, but to have one run as co host and actually get it, well, we're just not for that. A lot of us don't come here anymore because of how things are ran on jm. a lot of us have seen a lot of drama here.
