Were your cycles normal after a couple months or what? I had some light spotting between cycles this month and am wondering what is normal.

I've never had spotting between periods, ever. I got AF back this time at about 3 months PP, full force, and regular cycles every since, every 30-32 days.

good to know. I don't ever remember spotting before unless I was pregnant. So that's what's got me all worried.

Ditto to everything Dawn said. Sometimes it will come a little early or late, but that's how it always is.

I clicked the whacked out one! I've had 3 AFs since having Dylan..... it's been a few months since my most recent though. I will spot 2-3 random days out of the month, each month. BUT- I have the Mirena IUD in, which can cause spotting, and can eliminate periods. I think the Mirena is to thank for my lack of periods though. Because about a few months when I had an AF for the first time in like a year my face broke out, got moody, everything.... and even still, come the 15th of each month I 'PMS', break out.... bleh! Just no period.

I got my period back with Timmy at about 8 weeks pp. I nursed (and supplemented) him til he was 7 months which is why I think I got AF back so quickly.

Anyway, I was pretty regular after he was born - 28-30 day cycles and would occasionally spot in between, usually around o time.

Once I started again (Owen was 8 months) I was back like clock work. You can tell the phases of the moon by my cycle.

Sounds awesome. I've never had a regular cycle. I'm sure there are blessings with this curse since I don't ovulate as often I probably have a lower chance of breast cancer or something like that. In general I suppose it's nice to have fewer periods, on average that many women. The unpredictability is what kills me. Sometimes 28 days sometimes 54 or really just about anything. The spotting thing is new to me, however. Maybe I just never noticed before? I'm still nursing about 1-2 times a day so that complicates things further. The whole "am I pregnant" question runs through my mind very frequently when it gets to be past about CD 30.
