Hey fellow preggos!!

Can all of you do me a tiny, easy, and pee related test for me? If you haven't already done this of course!! And you get to pee on something again, we all know how much we like to pee on things!!

There is this gender test where you put 1 tsp of baking soda in a disposable cup(I cut the top off an empty water bottle because I didn't have a disposable cup). Then pee in the cup...if the concoction fizzes like a soda does then they say boy. If it doesn't, it means girl!

Even if you already know the gender can you do it anyway? Pretty please!! Report back your results!

I did it before finding out we were having a girl & it turned out being right. I peed on it & it did nothing, which is suppose to mean girl Dh didn't believe me & said it must have been old baking soda because it "always fizzes" so I made him pee on some & sure enough his fizzed, lol.

I will do this the next time I need to pee, but I don't know the gender so it will be interesting to see if it is right in a few months.

I just did it but I don't get the sizzle part. I heard to bubbles and saw no bubbles but then I was carrying it to the light and shook it a little a few bubbles appeared and then went away. Does it fizz? How much pee?

Karlee that sounds like a girl reaction! They say if it is a boy reaction you will know! Like it goes crazy!

Okay, so I will be happy with either a girl or a boy but I am kind of leaning towards a girl I will say that I think it is a girl when I compare pregnancies...I am getting wider and I am gaining weight like I did with Eden. Plus my skin looks horrible and my cravings are more like when I was pregnant with her than Cooper. But that being said, who knows until we find out July 12th!

Have you peed on some baking soda Jen?!?!?!?

I did!! It said girl!! Barely a fizz at all...it was more like the baking soda coming to the surface. I want to buy some new baking soda though to see if that makes a difference.

Mom2LandG(I KNOW your name but can't remember! I am blaming preggo brain!) did you do it???

Sorry. Preggo brain kept making me forget to do it.

I tried it this morning and no fizzing. I am going to buy some new baking soda the next time we go grocery shopping and try it again. The stuff we had is months old and kept in our laundry room for diaper laundry so I'm not sure it that affected anything or not.

I had been having strong boy vibes until a couple of weeks ago and now I'm not sure.

Ericka did it fizzle a lot or a little?? A little fizz is apparently ok. If it foamed up like a shook up soda that is a boy response! People that get boy KNOW they got a boy response.

I didn't do this but we did an experiment that went off of whether your placenta implanted on the right or left. Loading...

Ramzi's method.. it was right for ALOT of people in my DDC. It was right for me with Ansley.

I tried it and mine did nothing! Guess that means girl, although I have been having major boy vibes.
