Those with talkers, how are they talking?

Those who weren't talking much, how are they doing? How many words? Not that I think it's needed until after two, but is anyone considering speech therapy at all?

Anything and everything! She talks in sentences. She knows most animals and their sounds, she knows some counting, she knows the color yellow.
If she wants cereal, she tells me. If she hears the ice cream truck, she's right beside Emily running to the window and yelling "I-ceam ruck!"
I was standing on a step stool, cleaning the top of my fridge and she yelled "Get down, right now!!" She kept going too, adding Mom at the beginning or end.
You name it, she says it. She knows all the characters on Sesame Street, knows Mickey, Minnie, etc..
Sometimes I think people think I'm exaggerating when I say she talks in sentences, but I swear she does. One of her new things is to say Hey.. in this drawn out way... and a deep H..So it's "HHeeeey" and it makes me laugh every time! She'll come over, grab my hand and say "Hhheeey...Get up.. right now!" If I don't, she'll pull at me and say "Moooooom... Get up, RIGHT NOW!" Then she'll go to the rocker with her blankey and say "Mom, get up.. sit" And she wants me to rock her.

Wow Paula that is great!!!!

Xander still is not talking that much he will say no to everything even if he means yes. I just got him saying Momma instead of Dadda when he wants me.

I feel he is behind but the pediatrician doesn't think he is because he understands what I am saying.

Lucy is like a parrot and repeats almost anything you tell her too. She argues back with Jasmine. Jas will tell her to leave her alone and Lucy will yell back "No! Play!", Its kind of cute. Her fave of late though is "uh oh". Everything is "uh oh". She is very good at telling you what she wants. A snack from the cupboard is "nack" and fruit is "apple". She loves to point at the oven and tell us its "ho ho ho", even if its off. That's really all I can think of off the top of my head.

I think of a lot of Abby talking so well is because Emily never shuts up! They will sit and play and talk and have full conversations. It's hilarious!

We were at the zoo today and when we walked to the seals, Abby said cow. Jay and I laughed and he said seacow and Abby repeated.. Seacow!
I said No, seal. We walked away, came back and I asked what it was.. "seal". She remembers so well!! That's how Jay is though.
