How much do you follow ages on toys?
Like if it says 3+ now would you buy it or wait until baby was 3+?
Genevieve is very big on tangled now, and im doing tangled for her bday, i saw this really cool tangled tower an it said ages 3+ small pieces choking hazard, it looked like the small peices were just assembled pieces, that couldnt come off unless you physicaly removed them with tools. I think shed really like it and shes realy good at not putting things in her mouth unless its food. So idk if i should spend the $40 on it??
Ditto what Paula said. I don't follow the age suggestions because most of the time they make no sense to me. I think they have to put the higher ages on many toys in case something falls off. I couldn't imagine giving Billy toys that are only for his age right now. He would be bored out of his mind!
i agree, I was looking around to find something with 2+ on it and its all liek BABY baby stuff. Shes gotten a barbie from a family member when she was 1, and I just took away the necklace and the shoes so she couldnt swallow them. I am really cuirous as to what the small pieces are on this tower. the picture, like i said, only looked like they were pieces that had to be attatched to the tower.
Jillian has a 4 year old brother. She prefers his toys to anything of her own so she's always playing with stuff that's labeled for a higher age. I just make sure small parts have been removed. I take them off of Ben's toys too because she always takes his stuff!
ditto everyone else. Though I've pretty much stopped removing the small pieces after the boys through a fit I was taking away the swords and other accessories to their bat cave and dragon castle. Bailey hasn't put anything in her mouth in ages though. Most of the toys in this house say ages 3 or 4 + and if I followed them, not even Collin would be able to play with much of it.
