Let's see if anyone is interested to play?? Trying to think about what to fix for breakfast so I am in "Food" mode around here

I just made it up so it may be stupid!! But, anywhoo, name an ingrediant and the next poster has to list a recipe that has that ingrediant and then they list their own ingrediant.

I'll start:

Pumpkin

Pumpkin Cookies

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, and salt; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together the 1/2 cup of butter and white sugar. Add pumpkin, egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla to butter mixture, and beat until creamy. Mix in dry ingredients. Drop on cookie sheet by tablespoonfuls; flatten slightly.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven. Cool cookies, then drizzle glaze with fork.

Fancy Scramble (or a gagillion other names)

Whisk your eggs with a little milk, salt, and pepper as you would for a usual scramble. Add them to the pan and then stir in some shredded cheese (cheddar or whatever you prefer) and chives. Pork lovers can also shred some ham slices and add that.

Sweet Potatoes

Sweet Potatoes - Sweet Potatoe Seasoned Fries

Sweet Potatoes, Lemon Pepper Season, Salt, Pepper, Italian Seasoning, Olive Oil

Cut potatoes into a dish with the water. Cook in the microwave for 5 minutes. Drain off liquid, and toss with Italian seasoning, lemon pepper, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Arrange on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 30 minutes at 400 degrees, turning once, or until fries are crispy on the outside.

Pretty healthy alternative to regular fries.

Onions

omg I have been CRAVING onions.... and I dont usually even LIKE onions..... but I PILED them on a burger this weekend and it was soooo yummy!

how about perogies with bacon and onions!

boil perogies 6-7 minutes. Dice bacon and cook in a frying pan, add onions part way through. Drain perogies and lower the heat on your frying pain to 2-3. Add perogies to your pan and stir everything up. Let it sit for a minute or two and then serve!
