What are your plans once your kids are in school....is there a particular career/job you want to have, or something else you want to do?

I hope to teach. I finished my teaching program a couple of days before the BFP with my daughter, now I am finishing my master's. So.. I just hope I can find a job. Luckily I am certified for Special Ed, there is a need for SpEd teachers in my area. (Which isn't actually at all fortunate)

I'm not sure. I want to get my degree in paralegal and the plan was I would start when Troy started school but that plan was made when I only had one kid.

I am working on getting my Bachelors in Criminal Justice with training to also be a drug rehab therapist so I can become a Probation/Parole Officer........ I believe Drugs cause much of the revolving doors in the jails/prisons..............

I think all of your plans sound great! The good news is that perhaps the economy will be better then (or at least we can hope!)

My plan is hopefully by the time our last kid is in school my photography business will be going well enough that I dont need to get a full time job....I will probably go back to substitute teaching and the photography so that I can keep a flexible enough schedule to be home when the kids are sick....go on field trips...be a room mom...it's really important to me to be able to do all of those things

When all my kiddos are finally in school I think I'll take at least one year off! I figure I more than deserve it!

After that I'll likely go back to teaching. Although counseling and social work have also crossed my radar.

I have no desire to work outside the home unless I have no other choice for financial reasons. I may change my mind by the time the baby is starting school but that's still 5 years away.

Well, I do work outside the home now, but I hope not to be in the same position by the time the kids are in school. We sure don't want to live in China forever! My ideal would be to work at a private school (maybe a Catholic school) in the States where the kids would be able to attend the same school for reduced tuition.

I plan to always do my photography but it will be a side biz, will do something else full time. Will start looking next year.
