So as I was rubbing Bella's head the other night gently, I noticed a spot just above her right temple, that is a lump. I checked the other side and there's nothing there. Now I'm worried it's not right. I don't *think* she smacked her head there, I'm obviously watching to see if it disappears. It's more like a line, not a round lump, about 1/2inch long. Anyone else notice anything weird on their kids heads??

My son has had a pea sized lump on the back of his neck since he was born. It's just a lymph node, but it still freaks me out too. I find myself playing with it all the time.

Hmmm... I don't remember anything specifically with my girls. But I remember my brother had a pea size lump on his chin when he was younger. They got an xray and learned that it was just a calcium deposit.

Boden has a bump on the side of his head just above his temple. I've been meaning to ask about it at his next doctor appointment.... he's had it for a long time. I think I noticed it first around Easter time.... His bump is hard though and it feels like it just part of the bone/skull.

Yah, hers is hard too, like it's part of the skull. Maybe it is? I dunno, just another thing to worry about. Her appt. isn't for another month, ugh.

It seems chances are high that a 2yr old can hurt themselves without anyone knowing.

hmm..Sophia has a tiny one at the base of throat that is a tiny cyst.
I would ask if it doesnt dissappear. Sophia has a ridge on her head still..it is her soft spot though..it is still outlined.

She may have hit something when she stood up or something like that. Owen has done that before and didn't have a bump for what seems like a day or more. Just keep an eye on it and call the doc if you are worried
