Is it a pet peeve of yours? Or are you a late person yourself?

As I still learn how to get two kids out of the house, I am sometimes late. But I am usually always on time, or early! It drives me crazy when people are running more than 15 minutes late-especially when they don't call/text to let you know.

I had a middle school teacher who had the mantra "If you're early-you're on time, if you're on time-you're late, and if you're later-your lost." That has always stuck with me for some reason.

My dad drummed it into our heads to always be early...make sure you leave 15 to 20 minutes early...blah-blah...lol

I try to at least be 10 or 15 minutes early....with 2 infants and 2 toddlers that doesn't always happen...It is CRAZY getting out the door mainly by myself...at least one child has to poop their diaper right as we are walking out the door so that delays us.

I can't say it is a pet peeve...but I do not like when people are late and have no real reason...I mean if the person is a parent I so get it or if there is a real reason I get it...but when it is just someone who is late due poor planning or just laziness it is annoying!

With kids there have been times when I have been late but most of the time I am early. It is a pet peeve of mine is someone is perpetually late - why bother telling me a time to be somewhere if you are going to be super late and us every excuse under the sun. But in general, I try to give people some grace time since things do happen that you can't always control.

I am extremely punctual, always have been. Lateness doesnt bug me unless it is an important timed event or plan. My best friend is ALWAYS late, and I mean REALLY late, I actually tell him the time for whatever we are planning is 2 hours earlier than it is. Like.."Dinner is at 6" when it really isnt until 8...because I just know he will not make it.

^ We do the same thing with DH's parents They are always told that Thanksgiving dinner is at 12 even when it's at 2...because they're always late.

I'm a punctual person...DH (coming from his family) is always late. So, if I'm going somewhere by myself, we get out the door on time. But if we're going somewhere with DH, we're usually late.

Tardiness drives me nuts! I don't get angry, or huffy, but it really makes me antsy. Haha. Everyone knows if its just Tricia, she'll be early...if its Tricia and Shawn, they'll be late. He always tells people "If she isn't 20 minutes early, she's late!".

I am often late...usually only 10 mins and I will text if I am going to be late. Most days getting two toddlers out the door is next to impossible.

ALWAYS late. ALWAYS!! I hate it about myself but it seems that even when I plan well I still am late. It has always been a bad quality about myself and it seems like it is so much worse now with kids. I will usually call or text or even straight up tell people I will be late ahead of time(in which case I usually get there on time lol). All of my family is the same way so it is clear where it comes from but I have been trying very hard to get it out of my system. I know it is a bad quality in myself.
