Nicholas seems to be kind of in a phase where he gets upset about things and cries--not really temper tantrums, just says he is sad about this or that. For example, the other day at daycare they told me after I dropped him off and left he was crying and upset and when they asked him he said he wanted his mommy. When we talked later he said, I was sad about my mommy.

Then last night he was upset in the bathtub but not fighting it...so when I asked what was wrong he said he was sad about his daddy (he wasn't home yet).

But he seems to be handling it well...he cries and then gets over it and is fine.

John is also crying alot lately, and doesn't want me to leave him at preschool when before he was so excited to go and could care if I left. He seems to be way more emotional then before.

Joey does seem to be sad sometimes and think deeper thoughts. I think it's just because they are capable of a whole lot more reflection at this age.
