I would mainly focus on fluids... pedialyte/gatorade, popsicles, jello ect..

If he felt like eating then maybe sticking to the B.R.A.T diet....

Bananas, rice, applesauce & toast

Hope he feels better soon

Seriously, Joey gets stomach stuff so bad that I follow the ER instructions to the dot when she's sick.

Only pedialyte for her until she's been clear for a good 12 hours. And that is very carefully administered in specific doses.

We also only give them pedialyte for the first 12 hours and then if they feel up to it. Then we use the b.r.a.t diet.

He was really complaining about being hungry so I gave him applesauce and a slice of bread for lunch and he kept that down. He's got pedialyte right now.

Poor little guy. He got Wednesday's sippy cup of apple juice. It's been cool enough downstairs that I wouldn't think that was really a problem, but I'm wondering if it might have been the trigger for this. No throwing up for the last 6 hours! (no diarrhea either, but there hasn't been anything on that front, so I can't say he's over it).

But he's coughing now.

We just got over that with Baylee.....

when my kids have a stomach bug I push fluids.....but if they specifically ask for something I usually give them what they want (unless it's something ridiculous for a vomity kid like ice cream or something ya know) and see if they can keep that down. I try to encourage bland things like crackers toast....but sometimes they will ask for something off the wall like a sandwich and it actually works for them (I know I am that way when I've been sick....all of a sudden something will sound REALLY GOOD...like I really need to eat that and its something i can actually manage to keep down....works for me and MOST of the time works for them lol)

for diarrhea I do the BRAT diet and try to get some Lactobacillus granules down them (mixed with applesauce is the easiest way) it's a probiotic and our pedi strongly reccommends it to help stop diarrhea

hope he feels better soon........

If it's the Bug Baylee had it was the WORST stomach bug they've ever had....we went back adn forth between vomiting and diarrhea for 36 hours....it was MISERABLE
