It's Monday again, ladies! What's on tap in your kitchen this week? Is anyone doing meal planning around the 52 week cooking challenge?
I'm using the challenge as a rough guide for fun when it strikes my fancy, but I need to get over there and post my recipes if I'm going to do it! This week is pan frying, which is my primary form of cooking, so that's no inspiration. I did do a couple of soups last week.
Here's my plan for this week:
Sun: Herb roasted turkey breast, oven fries, yummy salad with blue cheese, walnuts, pear and greens
Mon: Herb rubbed pork chops in pan with sauteed onions, risotto (asparagus if the leftovers haven't gone bad), sauteed broccoli
Tue: Pan fried pesto salmon, fresh bread, maybe spinach
Wed: I'm traveling, but DH has fixins for turkey burritos
Thu: Eating out since I fly back right before dinner. I scored a Groupon today for the place we had already planned to go; how's that for convenient!
Fri: That blasted Thai PB chicken with veg over ramen noodles that I've had on the menu for weeks!
Sat: Grilled mole-rubbed chicken thighs, maybe homemade rice pilaf, and some sort of veggie- roasted carrots? froz veg mix?
Yea I have repeat offenders too.
Sun was chili verde with beans and tortillas and a apple brown Betty yum
Mon spagetti with home made sausage and bread maybe
Tuesday chili and bread
Wens tiki chicken masala rice and lentils
Thurs burgers and oven fries and macarooni veggies and cheese
Friday date night I hope
Saturday salmon and veggies and pasta this might become Wen if I switch it.
