Mom to 4 beautiful kids! 3 on Earth and 1 in heaven. Our little girl, Matilda Hope had Down Syndrome. She was born with TMD, a disease that is like leukemia. She fought that and beat it. Then, she had liver failure. She beat that, too. On October 17, 2014 she had NEC, necrotizing enterocolitis. My baby went to Heaven on October 19, 2014. She lived exactly one month.
LOVE that book Tricia! Too bad for me, but none of my kids have even let me read it all the way through before they are up and gone!
Owen's current favorite are these lame ol' shape, opposites, counting and colors books that came in a set that are Cars themed. BORING! LOL we read them 500 times a day and I am so bored of them. Heck he can "read" them now!!
Lily loves books of any kind! I have been taking her to the library lately to get longer books. All we have are the books you are talking about Jen. Shapes, opposites, etc. I needed something with some meat to it!
James has been really into his big Richard Scarry book (or as he calls it, the "Dingo book" because of the fast driving dog character, Dingo) and some of the stories inside. We love that it is old school and there is a lot to choose from for reading material. Tons of the "stories" are really short too- good for a fast read.
He's also been into Splat the Cat and counting books. Oh, and he has a couple of lift-the-flap Little People books that are making the rounds as well.
