I've got like one craft planned each week that involves handprints or footprints for my PDO class this summer. It wasn't intentional, I just looked over my crafts again and noticed it. Now 1/2 of my class comes two days a week, and the other 1/2 comes on just one day or the other, so I split them up so that 1/2 the class only does them every other week. (The other 1/2 will be doing one every week)

So... as a parent, can you get too many hand/foot print crafts?

I only said yes because I think it can be overdone. I mean I like them and all, but honestly one a year is plenty! Maybe one foot/one hand. On the other hand, I guess not...I don't know. I'm indecisive!

I said know because I figure your crafts do not use the hand print in isolation and they are just an available shape template.

Ana does a lot of hand/foot/finger painting they have done cars, owls, trees, hearts- whatever ties in with the topic that week. They do use leaves/potatoes/pasta too.

I'm always happy that Adrian is doing some sort of craft no matter what it is. Every time he brings a new one home, we put an old on in a box that I have for his artwork...so lots of feet and hand prints don't bother me.
