Have you ever been to one? Do you have an interest in going?
We went to Splash Lagoon in Erie PA twice, and I remember going to Water Country USA when I was a teen. I'm not a huge line person, so I'd rather just lazy.
I also hate how I look in a bathing suit!

I don't think I've ever even been to one.... and honestly the idea of trying to keep up with four kids at one has me not wanting to go anytime soon.

Great Wolf Lodge in Poconos PA
I loved it! Lots of features for all ages and having it indoors with all the amenities and hotel room make it ideal. Plus my DH is a red head who burns in the shade so he was happy not having not having to worry about staying in the shade and apply copious amts of sunscreen. Just wish it wasn't 3 hrs away.

We went to Typhoon Lagoon in Orlando and loved it! That was years ago and pre-Adrian though.

I think we might take Adrian to Great Wolf Lodge here in WA next winter.

One specific water park, it was in Denver but I can't remember the name of it. It was fun, but the biggest things I remember are gashing my elbow open on a slide and then having to leave early because the tornado sirens went off.

We've been to our local indoor water park thats at a family fun center (bowling, go karts, bumper boats, mini golf, and arcade too) a few times, its called Triple Play.

And our local amuesment part has a water park attatched to it, I've been there a couple times too. The amusement park I've been to way more then the water park, its called Silverwood Theme Park, its been open like 25yrs now. The water park part of it, Boulder Beach, has only been open 5-6yrs or so, so we haven't been to often, basically when we go to dh's company picnic's there is when we get to go.

We've been to several. I went to Water Country when I was younger. And we have been to the park attached to Kings Island. And we also went to one up in that area that I can't remember the name to and last summer we went to Splash Country in Pigeon Forge TN. My family really likes water parks.

Just when i was younger, Vegas use to have Wet N Wild--but closed it down. This town doesn't like to cater to families.

Technically I've been to one. It was when I was a special ed associate and the fifth grade kids all went to a water park for field day at the end of the school year but hardly anyone got in because it was about 65 that day and so all the teachers and most of the kids just sat on the edge wearing sweatshirts.

We went to Water Country USA pre-babies and we had a blast. We went to Sesame Place yesterday (and last year as well) and it has tons of water stuff for the kids and a few for the adults too. We try to pick days to go that won't be too busy so we don't have to stand in lines the whole time...I think that is the key.

Is this expensive? It's three hours from us as well but this would be pretty good for a weekend away.

I've seen some good middle of the weeks specials for the one here.
