I've struggled with sleep for years. Not only could I not fall asleep but I would wake up multiple times per night and not be able to fall asleep.
I take Ambien. I hate doing it, but I have to sleep. Melatonin didn't do it for me.
I have insomnia. I take Melatonin. One pill will knock me out cold so I only take it when Angelica is over at my moms house becuase she still gets up in the middle of the night some. Also I have used the celestial seasons Sleepytime or tension tamer tea. Both have chamomile and mint to help you sleep. I'm the kind of person I'd rather deal with it a natural way rather than take something OTC.
Chamomile helps me too. My problem is just having too much to do...so I just don't go to bed at a reasonable hour. The stupid thing is sometimes I'm just goofing off. Lately I haven't been sleeping because of stress and a sick child - not a combination conducive for a good night's sleep.
