I remember her. I don't remember what kind she used but you should be able to google post partum supporter and find the different ones avalable. My friend had to wear one from 20 weeks on because she was so big with her son. I'll see if I can find out what brand she used and if she liked it or not.

I got one from the hospital since I had a c-section...I loved it because it gave me the extra support my belly needed to recover. I don't know that it does a whole lot in the belly-shrinking department ;-)

Amanda where are you getting yours? What type?

Kristen, do you know if all hospitals give them after c-sections?

Elizabeth, I'd love to know what your friend used...there are a ton of types out there

I used one from the hospital after Kenzie's c/s. I used it for the same reason Kristen mentioned, the little extra support helped. They didn't just offer it, I had to ask for one. The first one I used was more of a light weight one. The second one (they had to order it since it was considered a "by prescription only" type thing) was more of a corset style. I preferred the lighter one as the real one just felt so bulky. Text me if you want to send u pics of what I have. I can mail them to you if you wanted.

My mother bought one for me - it had a velcro closure thing - and it was the most uncomfortable thing in the world. I ended up wearing it for a few days and just hiding it in the bottom of my drawer.
