Hannah came down with a bad cough Sunday night and has been running a fever in the 100-101 range. I feel terrible and hate that she doesn't feel good I have been giving her Motrin, but is there anything else she can take? Or any other recommendations? She's not really congested, just a little bit of a drippy nose at times. It sounds like a phlemy type cough. Help?

I always put the vicks baby rub on Aiden when he gets like that. We also use the vicks humidifier with the little vicks vapo pads. It seems to help him break it up in his chest.

vicks is definitely a good idea. I tried the homeopathic stuff they sell at Wal-mart and was pleasantly surprised that it worked. HUGS! I hope she feels better soon!

Are you alternating medicine? I switch off between Tylenol and Ibuprofen when Siera's sick. The Vicks pads and humidifier might help as well.

We use a humidifier when Adrian is super congested. He gets a hot bath before bedtime too.

We're dealing with a cough and fever here too! I feel your pain.

What they've all said.

Also, when any mine have bad coughs that rattle and keep them up I also put some Vicks on their feet. ((Yeah I never thought it worked either until I got a wicked cold while pregnant and was desperate enough to try it.))
