Is anyone else experiencing some serious attitude from their nearly 3yr old?

I cannot get over the attitude from my daughter, I'm not sure whether she's picked up on it from her older brother or from daycare... Doing my head in, and I reckon I grew an extra 12 grey hairs in 2 weeks.

One of James' favorite phrases when he's in a mood is a VERY emphatic "Nnnnnnnno, Mommy!" He has so much will he wants to control and push on others! Lately he's all about having control of his clothes- he gets into his drawers and messes everything up, wants to change multiple times a day, and pulls things he knows are dirty from the laundry before we know what's happening! I know he just wants to have some control, but geez! And god forbid we try to explain WHY these things aren't allowed.

Just this morning he was screeching in the bathroom while I was in the shower about how he didn't want to wear that shirt. (I told him it wasn't a choice today- I wanted him to wear the new shirt I bought for him weeks ago because darn it, I spent money on it!)

Hahahaha I'm the same with clothes... **** IT KID you will wear it, I don't care if you don't like it lol.

So glad I'm not the only one hahaha.

What exactly do you mean by serious attitude? What exactly she do? I've seen changes in my daughters attitude lately as well. May be we could share experience

My DD has become Little Miss Attitude since she turned 3. "I Do It Myself!" is one of her favorite phrases followed closely by "I Need Your Help Now!"

I am. I hate the three year old stage...people say terrible twos well not any of my kids. Its always been three that is HORRID! They are going between toddler that is still babyish to a preschooler that wants to do it all on his/her own and it makes for some nasty tantrums and long days, lol.
