Hey ladies,
I have my 38 week 5 day appt today--LOL--and I am getting kinda nervous....I don't know what I am hoping for.
Part of me is soooo ready to get her out and the other part isn't quite ready yet....DH and I talked about induction vs waiting it out, and I am still kinda undecided.
Guess we will just take the doctors lead (who knows she may not even induce.) I will update more after the appt.

UPDATE
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello ladies!
Well I deffinately have some news to share....
Breanna will be here FRIDAY....in just 3 days my little girl will be here.
So heres the scoop.
She is breech....AGAIN....
For two weeks she stayed put and now she is butt first again... I actually cried when the doctor told me this. It just sucks. Anyway, we are going in on Friday morning and they will try to turn her. If they are successful they will just induce me right away. My cervix is favorable for induction (3cm and soft is what I was told) If they can't get her to budge, then C-Section it is.
So either way she will be here by this weekend.
As much as I am THRILLED to have an end in sight, I feel like a bad mommy that my little stinker won't stay put. And I am scared of the surgery option, and I am just kinda freaking out....but I just have to wait and see how things go.
Any advice on a c-section would be appreciated as I am a rookie in this area!
Thanks ladies!
Good luck! Can't wait to hear how everything goes.
Be interested to hear if you get the option of choosing to induce. I can't choose to, they will decide when for me.
Lots of luck to you! I think following your doctor's lead sounds like a good plan. I hope your little one makes an appearance soon!
It's not YOUR fault she turned! She just did what she did, nothing you could do about it. That is SO exciting though!! You're going to meet your little one in mere DAYS!!
Friday is going to be a pretty good day to be born. Though I'm holding out the sliver of hope Liam decides he likes tomorrow or Thursday or right now better.
I hope baby turns back and you can avoid a c section though!
My heart sank for you when i read she turned, that is so not fair!! I hope she turns back for you, obviouslyshe still has some room, since she managed to do it again!!
Good luck on Friday, that is so exciting.
As for a csection- if you do h ave one, it wont be as bad as you are thinking, just remember to try and be as active as possible after to help speed up the healing process.
bring some magazines and munchies for the hospital, becuase it gets boring with only 8 channels, lol. Also, bring some COMFY pjs to change into. I wore the hosptial gown for the first 24 hours, then changed into yoga pants and a tank top, and was much more comfortable laying in bed for 3 more days!
Thanks for the AWESOME advice!
I do have some things packed, but will look over my selections again!!
I am reading a good book, so that is good news, and as far as TV goes the hospital has wi-fi so hopefully I can be on JM and get some relief from the awful tv!!
I just wanted to say good luck-I'm facing the same prospect next week if this LO decides to stay tranverse, and after three vaginal births, I'm a little freaked at the idea of a c-section!
I hope turning your LO works, and you can be induced successfully!
Well, I'm sorry to hear things may end up that way. I hope she turns soon and you can avoid a c/s. The only advice I have is to make sure you are up as soon as you can and move. I too have a vag with my first and an unexpected c/s this time. It was somewhat painful afterwards. During, it wasn't so bad. And take all the help you can get for the first week or so. You will need it. Goodluck and KUP!
