Ugh. NO! I always wanted them because I had gappy teeth...turned out I had an impacted tooth that was the culprit...anyway, once I was old enough I just had bonding done as opposed to adult orthodontia.

me too!!! I hated my teeth growing up. But my wisdom teeth came in when I was 19 - 20 and they pushed them together, closing the gap. I do NOT want them taken out. They've never given me any problems so I don't see why I should.

I wore them from 11 to 15. I'm so glad now because I am such a smiler by nature. I see orthodenture (sp?) in my kids' future for sure!

I sure did have braces, or a LONG time. From about 7th grade until 12th. AWFUL.

Yep. My teeth were pretty straight but my bite was all jacked up and causing jaw pain, so I got them when I was a senior in HS and got them removed a year and a half later. They sure were a pain, but I love my smile.

Actually no... last year I went and had cosmetic surgery where they implanted 6 porcelain front teeth at the top. My 6 front top teeth were serverly bad off and it runs in the family so it was the best option for me. Wasnt cheap though.... 10 grand for this beautiful smile but after growing up and never smiling because my mouth was jacked up.. I can say it was worth EVERY penny!
