I have been wondering... do your little ones keep the same basic sleeping pattern that they were on before they were born? I mean, I can go all night without feeling any movement... or very very little. Then he doesn't "wake up" until around 8am on my drive into work. I was just curious whether this will somewhat carry over to after he is born or if his sleep (or "rest") cycle will go all out of whack at that point. What are your experiences?

My boys were always more active at night when i was pregnant with them and some during the day. After they were born though they slept pretty well during the night and took lots of naps during the days. we got on a schedule with both of them pretty quickly though so im not really much help i guess! i think they get into the routine that you put them in if you keep it the same for them then they know when its sleepy time and play time.

I wish Owen kept the same routine he had in my belly! lol

When I was pregnant with him he was very active around 10pm, 6am, 12pm

Now that he is here...everyday is different. On average he gets up every 3ish hours to eat, be changed ect...then sometimes he'll be wide awake for 3 hours between each feeding, sometimes he'll be awake all night and sleep most of the day, sometimes he sleep good at night and be awake during the day. As you can see we have no real routine yet...which also could be due to the formula (we've tried a couple different kinds -- one of them made him pretty sick). So it varies and I'm sure it varies with each baby!

Hmmm, I don't think so. My guy was most active around 10-11pm when I was pregnant, but I think this was because I was lying down getting ready to sleep, and that position made it easier for him to move around. Jax now sleeps tons, probably 18 hrs per day. He is most alert in the morning (7-10 am) and in the evening (6-8 pm).

Xander is totally different - he was active 24/7 towards the end. Now, he sleeps constantly. He is most active in the morning (7am for a few hours) and at night (10pm)... other than that, he just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps!
