Whats your intake on discipline?




I say no to Elizabeth but she laughs at me

Matthew is too young for discipline.

He doesn't play with stuff he isn't supposed to have to be naughty, he is just curious. If it's that big of an issue I just remove the item from his reach. I have been using "be careful" instead of NO all the time. He responds much better. He understands "be careful" means he could get hurt. It stops him in his tracks 90% of the time.

I agree... we only use "no" if its a dangerous situation (i.e. trying to climb into the dryer or touch the oven )

I usually just distract her with toys if she is getting into something she shouldn't be... or I move whatever it is out of her reach.
