I have been following these frugal blogs and some of these ladies, do this once a month cooking and freezing so that they have enough food for a month. It seems this would save a lot of money because You can buy a lot of something that is on sale and it won't go bad, plus you won't have an urge to go out to eat or pick something up. Anyways, I would like to start doing this but I don't think that I have enough in me to spend 8 hours in the kitchen in one day, but I would like to do some double some meals so i can freeze some.
So I just realized that I have one cookbook. I love getting recipes online, but it is so much easier if you just have an awesome cookbook in front of you.

I love the Cooking Light magazines! I used to get so excited when I would get one in the mail and then flip through it and cut out the recipes that look good and glue them into notebooks that I have marked...salads, apps, desserts, soups..etc....

have not done this in a LONG time with all this mommy stuff going on

I am not a good cook. I love recipes with 5 ingredients or less. One of my favorite cookbooks is one that is shaped like a campbell's soup can and it has like 100 recipes and all call for some kind of can of soup. Most only have 5 ingredients or so. Super simple, one of my faves!

My favorite cookbooks are small town cookbooks like the ones put together for church fundraisers and such. Of course that doesn't really help too much since you can't just go down to the store and buy those. Other than that I love allrecipes.com. I cook a lot of things I find on that site.
